Quality Notifications is the ECC equivalent of SAP QIM (Quality Issue Management). Furthermore, transaction code IQS21 – Simplified View is the ECC equivalent of the “Quality Issue (Quick)” view in SAP QIM. Both IQS21 – Simplified View and the Quick view in QIM are great tools for initiating any defects identified. This screen has the basic information to get the defect identified and to link any supporting attachments. The support will then be able to see the new defect and manage the defect process using the more involved screens.
